Hen House Photography Workshops

Hen House Photography Workshops are intimate events specially created for couples. We mean couples of all shapes and sizes, be they spouses, lovers, friends, mother/daughter or father/son. The only requirement is that you be comfortable sharing a queen-sized bed. Workshops take place on weekends, starting on the afternoon of the first day and running through the afternoon of the second day.

The Hen House is an 1875, Georgian style house that formerly served as a bed and breakfast named The Henderson House. Guests stay in one of the three bedrooms on the second level. Classroom sessions are held in the 1850s vintage log cabin on the property. The ten laying hens in the Hen House chicken coop love to be fed treats if you're up for it.

The workshop fee is $300 fee per couple and includes the workshop plus a night for two at the Hen House and meals. The way our couple's workshops are structured is a bit like a prix fixe tasting menu. For one set price per couple, each person can take part in whatever they wish. If only one wants to attend the workshop component, that's fine. If both want to attend, that's fine too.

If you are interested in signing up for one of our workshops, please email me at tomnorthenscold@icloud.com. The rough schedule for upcoming workshops is shown below.
